Supplier to Canadian Department of National Defence

GD-OTS Canada, the sole Canadian producer of military ammunition, produces over 70% of the conventional military ammunition used by DND. In addition, the company has been designated by the Canadian government as the centre of excellence for the maintenance and further development of an industrial defence capability in production, technical know-how and research relating to ammunition products.

Supplier to US Department of Defense

An active member of the North American Technology Industrial Base (NTIB), GD-OTS Canada is also a current supplier to the Department of Defense of the United States for specific products, both small and large caliber. The company has a longstanding relationship with US Army TACOM-ARDEC, beginning with a variety of small caliber R&D contracts in the 1980s and early 90s, before expanding into both R&D and production of large caliber cartridges.

Supplier to International Clients

Internationally, GD-OTS Canada provides conventional ammunition, or components, to a large number of other countries including
several in Europe (Belgium, Denmark, France, Holland, Greece, Italy, Sweden and the UK ), the Middle East (UAE, Oman, Jordan and Kuwait), the Far East (Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines) as well as Australia and New Zealand.
