General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems-Canada Inc. (GD-OTS Canada) is a world-class developer and manufacturer of ammunition adapted to the needs of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies. The company has a work force of 1,450 employees. As prime contractor and ammunition system integrator, GD-OTS Canada is designated by the Canadian government as the centre of excellence for the maintenance and further development of an industrial defence capability in production, technical know-how and research relating to ammunition products. GD-OTS Canada is a member of the North American Technology Industrial Base (NTIB). The company is headquartered in Le Gardeur, Québec and is wholly owned by General Dynamics Corporation.

With a staff of over 1,450 employees, of whom 200 are graduate engineers or scientists, GD-OTS Canada maintains a high
level of technical expertise to conduct design, development, product improvement and full production for most calibers of
conventional and training ammunition.
In its capacity as a producer of military ammunition, GD-OTS Canada acts as prime contractor; this includes procurement of components, sub-assemblies, LAP and lot acceptance testing of the ammunition.

- Striving to be a leader in our industry in improving environmental quality by minimizing waste, reusing and recycling, reducing the use of natural resources and promoting the prevention of pollution.
- Striving to be a leader in our industry in improving safety performance and reducing and eliminating work related injuries and illnesses.
- Regularly reviewing our facility and programs and establishing measurable goals to continuously improve our environmental, health and safety and quality performance.
- Integrating environmental, health and safety and quality considerations into design, procurement, facilities management and production support activities.
- Encouraging and training all employees to take personal responsibility for protecting the environment and continuously improving our health and safety and quality performance.
- Training and requiring all employees to comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, company policies and customer quality requirements to meet environmental, health and safety and quality program goals and objectives.
